HOW IT WORKS
1. Choose your format, size, and frame option where applicable.
2. Enter the complete address or exact location, including city and state.
3. Add the names exactly as you would like them to appear.
4. Add the venue or place name, milestone wording, optional date, and whether you would like coordinates displayed.
5. Choose your location indicator and color style.
6. We create your custom design and send a digital proof for approval before production.

No map preparation is required. Simply provide the meaningful location and personalization details. We verify the location, prepare the map composition, and place the selected indicator at the approved point.

Please provide the most complete address possible. If the location has no conventional street address, include verified latitude and longitude or detailed notes. Standard production currently supports locations within the United States. Please contact us before ordering for a location outside the United States.

All dimensions are listed width × height. Heart Map artwork is designed in a vertical/portrait orientation, and the heart shape is never stretched to fit a size.

The road hierarchy, water, typography, and location accent are carefully balanced for print. Custom color requests may be adjusted to preserve map readability. Printed colors may vary slightly from screen colors because of monitor settings, printing methods, and production materials.

Every standard indicator uses the same refined Archive Red accent. We recommend an indicator based on your milestone, but you may choose the one that best represents your story.

YOUR DIGITAL PROOF
Your first digital proof will normally be sent by email within 3–5 business days after we receive your complete personalization details.

Please review the names, address or location, venue, city and state, milestone wording, date, coordinates, indicator, spelling, colors, map crop, layout, and overall composition carefully. One reasonable revision is included, and we recommend combining any requested adjustments into one clear response.

The included revision covers reasonable adjustments such as spelling, personalization, color, spacing, indicator choice, map positioning, or minor layout changes. A different location, entirely new concept, or substantial redesign may require additional approval.

Production begins only after you approve the proof. Changes requested after approval may not be possible.

Production cannot begin until the proof is approved, so delays in proof approval will also shift the estimated production and delivery timeline.

MAP DETAIL & DESIGN
Every location is different. Road density, water features, surrounding geography, map scale, and crop will be adjusted as needed to create a balanced heart-shaped composition while keeping the meaningful location accurately registered.

Some private roads, interior walkways, very new construction, or unmapped features may not appear in the available geographic data. Your proof will show the final proposed map before production.

PRODUCTION & DELIVERY
Design and proof time is separate from production and shipping. After proof approval, production generally takes an additional 3–5 business days. Shipping transit begins after production and varies by product format and destination. Tracking information will be sent when your order ships.

Any delivery estimate shown at checkout does not include the initial design and proof period.

DESIGN SCOPE
Standard location research, map composition, personalization, and one selected indicator are included. Requests involving multiple locations, routes, several milestones on one map, extensive research, multiple design concepts, custom illustration, or a complete redesign may require separate approval before work begins.

Official logos, copyrighted photographs, venue artwork, and other protected graphics will not be included unless the necessary rights or permission are available.

CARE
• Posters and framed posters: gently remove dust with a clean, dry cloth.
• Canvas and framed canvas: gently wipe dust with a clean, slightly damp cloth.

MADE-TO-ORDER POLICY
Work may be canceled before design work begins. Once a proof has been prepared, design work has started. Once the proof is approved and production begins, cancellations or change-of-mind returns cannot be accepted.

If the finished product arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or materially different from the approved design, contact us promptly with photographs so we can help in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Replacements Policy.
